Course Overview and Validation
We are the only training centre in Central and Eastern Europe authorised to award the TEFL International Certificate in TESOL. Every course is externally moderated and the certificate carries high name recognition both in the local area and worldwide. We maintain a very high pass rate, over 96%. The course will help you get a job teaching English and do that job well.
The course content has been developed and refined over many years with input from experienced teachers and experts from around the world. It runs full time from Monday to Friday over a four-week period. The course meets or exceeds all international standards, comprising 130 hours of classroom study with a minimum of 6 hours of observed teaching practice with real English language students at a range of ability levels.
Most certificate courses provide the usual international standard of at least 120 hours of tuition and 6 hours of observed teaching practice. Beyond this, TEFL programs vary greatly as to what services they can provide as well as the qualifications and experience of their trainers, and even to some degree, course content. The quality of training and actual recognition of the certificates earned varies greatly.
